What is Lady ChangeMakers (LCM)?
Lady ChangeMakers is a place where we can come to find and support fellow women owned and women forward businesses.
I have always wanted to find a way to support women owned businesses but found it hard to actually find them. I would have to seek them out after countless Instagram hashtag searching, google searches, etc., etc. etc.
I am setting out to achieve a monumental goal of creating the largest online directory of celebrating women! Everything from finding your favorite blog, new book, a great musician, fashion designer, thrift shop, social media guru, influencer, restaurant…anything! As long as the business is owned by a woman or focuses on women empowerment it can be featured on this site.
How it works
This site will continue to grow and I’m excited to see how it evolves. Maybe there will be events in the future, maybe a social aspect, who knows! Stick with me to find out!
Currently the site is designed to be a directory for customers to find businesses, brands/products and public figures. Customers are able to rate businesses and leave comments (like a review site). Customers can also utilize Google Maps to locate physical businesses.
If you would like to be listed on this site, all you have to do is go to the Submit Listing page and enter in all the information. Allow up to 7 days for the listing to be approved. Once listing is approved the business will need to be claimed by owner. An email will be sent to owner to claim their listing.
An account will need to be created to manage your listing where you can update business information. In the description area you will be able to add any specials. Or you can upload coupon images. All initial listings are free with seven images allowed.
There will likely be featured listings and ad options in the future but until a database is created everything is free!
If you know of a lady owned business, brand, product or public figure that you feel should be added please feel free to submit them through the Submit Business page.
I cannot create this database by myself and am so thankful to all those who are helping this mission of support and lifting up our fellow female leaders.
In the LCM Blog you will find featured businesses, new finds and interviews with great businesses to check out. Learn from the owners and public figures on their purpose, how they got started and why supporting women is important to them.
